- CANDLE SAFETY & TIPS -
*Please remove all wrappings, ribbons and tags before burning your new candle.

*Candles have a great memory. For the first time burning your candle, it is important to allow your candle to burn until the melt pool reaches the outer edge of the jar. On average, it takes about 1 hour per inch of the candle's diameter. A complete first burn will allow your candle to have the longest burn life. After the initial burn, allow your candle to burn no longer than 4 hours at a time.

*Don't forget to trim your candelwick 1/4"-1/2" prior to each burn. Keeping your wick trimmed will prevent smoking, soot and high flame. Make sure no trimmings are left in the wax.

*Keep your candle away from drafts to prevent smoking. Drafts will cause your candle to burn unevenly and may present a fire hazard.

*Store candles in a cool, dry place (out of the sunlight) to prevent fading and fragrance loss.

*Always burn candles on a protected, non-flamable, heat-resistant surface. Never burn a candle on, in or near anything flammable.

*The best way to extinguish a flame is to dip the wick in the wax with a wick dipper. This creates a lot less smoke. You can also gently blow them out or use a candle snuffer. Do not put the lid back on the jar while burning. Do not use water to put out candles.

*To prevent heat damage or fire, discontinue the use of your candle when only 1/2" wax remains at the bottom of the jar.

*Do not move your candle while it is burning or while the wax is still hot.

*Burn candles out of reach of children and pets.

*Never leave a burning candle unattended!
